A biopic on Malaysia's 10th Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's life when he became Finance Minister in Tun Mahathir Mohamad's Cabinet until he was sacked and subsequently imprisoned. The film chronicles the start of the Reformasi movement during a tumultuous period in Malaysia's politics.

Viva Westi (b. 1972, Manokwari, Indonesia) has worked in the Indonesian film industry for nearly three decades. She began her career as an actress, starring in the film Surat untuk Bidadari (1994) before venturing into directing and screenwriting. Her notable films include Serambi (2005), May (2008), Rayya, Cahaya di Atas Cahaya (2012) and Jenderal Soedirman (2015).
